I would like to thankyou for the fantastic help your people @ Go-Fer Gals were to me. Let me explain what I'm talking about.

On April 14th, 2007 we had an extreme snow storm on the farm. It left our farm looking like an island in the middle of a lake. We were without power for 3 1/2 days, and because I raise dogs, am disabled and cannot be without power I asked Go-Fer Gals to pick me up a generator so I wouldn't be without power. Not only did your people pick up my generator, but they set it up as well as delivering it. I watched your staff wade through water around my house and were very pleasant and sympathetic to my needs.

I feel there is a real need for companies like yours and wish to tell you, I will never forget and look forward to future dealings of a more pleasant kind with your company.

In the spring of 2005, we had tried the services of several different companies that claimed that they did gardening as part of their concierge and homewatch companies. To be exact, we had consecutively hired three local companies and were very disappointed with each one. Desperately seeking someone to take care of our beautiful patio garden while we were away on work trips, we decided once more to check the internet. That is when we found Go-Fer Gals. I called the number for Denise and was met with a cheerful and enthusiastic voice on the phone. We set up a time and Denise and Tracy came right to our home to meet with us both. Being immediately impressed with the presentation of themselves and their company, we engaged their services to start the same week by purchasing a full package. We would recieve regular emails from Denise and Tracy every time they went to our home, keeping us updated on the work they were doing.

Everytime we came home from weeks away at work, we were so grateful to see and experience our garden as it had evolved so wonderfully under the watchful eyes and and wonderful hands of Denise and Tracy. We asked them to take total responsibilty for our garden while we were away so that we could concentrate on work. In regular emails to us, they would share with us what was happening in our garden so we would be included in the wonderful events of nature unfolding over the season from spring through summer to fall. One hectic day at work, an email from Denise and Tracy included digital photos of our garden taken that morning after they finished working in the garden, along with a note that the robins had been visiting again.

This dynamic duo not only does all of the watering, weeding, and maintenance of our perennial planter beds and numerous container plantings, they also run errands for us so that our precious time at home can be spent relaxing. Most important of all, they take excellent care of our fine feathered friends, including the chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, and robins, by faithfully cleaning the bird baths, refreshing bird seed supplies, and maintaining our water garden and fountains that the birds drink from and bath in.

I was involved in two car accidents that were less than a year apart. After the second accident I had a really hard time cleaning my house and running errands. I met Tracy about a year later. She would help me with errands. I struggled on a weekly basis to clean my house and would be extremely sore and could barely walk afterward.

When Tracy and Denise started up their business I decided to ask if they would help out by cleaning my house and run errands once a week. They come in and do anything that I have extreme trouble with which leaves me with time to do the small jobs that I have no trouble with. Tracy and Denise have been a god send and I really appreciate the work that they do. This has given me back a quality of life that I thought I would never have again.

Personal concierge services help keep chaos at bay
A new company, the Go-fer Gals, presents a more democratic alternative. Owners Denise Smolcic and Tracey Dunne have targeted the fledgling enterprise towards anyone with a full-time schedule. "I never had enough time for anything," says Smolcic, who opened the business in January.

"Everyone we spoke to had the same problem. Our business is targeted to seniors and busy moms. We want to make sure it's feasible for everyone." The Go-fer Gals will pick up dry cleaning, clean the house and even take care of light yard work.

Business is steadily growing as more and more clients discover their services and lower prices--on average, $24 an hour. Harried professionals call on concierge services for numerous reasons.

Breakfast Television
On October 5, 2006 we had the opportunity to appear on Breakfast Television and to run an errand. Our task was to deliver a danish to Bridget on location as quickly as possible. With much success we met the challenge and delivered both a regular and chocolate danish (we couldn't forget about Jason, the camera man).
